Samsonite Sage Green Luggage

Samsonite Sage Green Luggage

If you're searching for a hard-sided suitcase, cabin bag, or duffel, Samsonite has plenty of choices to choose from. You can filter your search based on size, brand, style, material (soft or hard), features, and color.

Samsonite has earned a reputation for producing tough luggage that stands up to damage and wear. They craft their bags from various materials and put them through rigorous tests to guarantee they meet high standards.

Their luggage is constructed from PolyPro, a lightweight and moisture-resistant material. This makes them the ideal option for those who want to pack more items without adding weight to their carry-ons. Some of their suitcases even feature hard shells to protect the contents inside as well as TSA locks so you can rest easy knowing your belongings are secure when checked at an airport.

Samsonite Freeform 21" Hardside Expandable is ideal for a weekend trip or longer vacation. It features two fabric-lined packing compartments and a zippered divider to keep your items organized and secure.

It also features elastic cross compression straps and a small single zippered pocket ideal for jewelry or smaller items. Plus, the bag comes with a TSA lock so it's durable enough to last on any flight.

Samsonite also offers the Aspire Xlite Collection, which is lightweight and equipped with extra technology to help get your luggage to its destination quickly and efficiently. This set features organizational pockets, an expansion option, interior cross-straps, padded carrying handles at multiple locations, 360-degree spinner wheels and more for optimal convenience.

They offer a range of sizes, such as the large 20 inch suitcase, medium and small suitcases, plus a boarding bag. All their suitcases feature TSA locks and come in colors like sage green, black or white.

Samsonite has been around since 1910, and they remain a popular travel brand today. Their bags and cases are known for their reliability and quality; this has earned them thousands of positive reviews online. Samsonite prices tend to be competitively low, and many come with limited warranties covering manufacturing defects.

Samsonite Freeform Hardside Expandable Luggage Sage Green

The Samsonite Freeform carry-on with a diameter of 21 inches contains all of the features that are required, but none that are optional. Because of this, the bag is able to maintain a low weight while still maintaining a cheap price. We believe it's excellent that this suitcase doesn't come with a USB charging port, a ton of compartments, laundry bags, or sub-dividers. Because of these exclusions, the total weight is under 7 pounds, which is an outstanding amount for a carry-on bag.

The Freeform has a contemporary look to it, and it is available in a wide variety of colors, each of which has its own distinct characteristics. Sadly, all of them have a certain amount of scuff resistance, which is over and beyond what we would consider to be "the usual." Although this could be a deal-breaker for the larger checked bags in the freeform line, it shouldn't be too much of an issue with the carry-on bag that is 21 inches wide. You must, however, keep this in mind when you move it to and from the overhead bin.

Dimensions and Specs

The Samsonite Sage Green Luggage Freeform 21-inch carry on has dimensions of 21.25 inches by 15.25 inches by 10.0 inches, giving it a total linear length of 46.5 inches. This makes it the perfect size for people who want to pack a lot of things. This is close to the maximum allowed by most airlines for carry-on luggage, but you can get away with it without taking any chances.

The statistic that matters most in this case is the amount of inner space that can be put to good use. This space is typically misallocated in a lot of hard-sided luggage, but the freeform has enough of it, measuring exactly 19.5 inches by 14.5 inches by 10 inches. Samsonite performed a good job of maximizing the inside capacity, in part because of the flat shape of the telescopic handle, which contributed to the success of this endeavor.

The best part is that the bag weighs only 6.5 pounds, which is a weight that only a few other hard-shell carry-ons can match. If you travel by air very frequently, your back will thank you for doing this.

Material Design

The Freeform is a hardshell suitcase that is injection molded from polypropylene, as we just mentioned. Although we can't say the same about its protection against scratches, it provides excellent impact protection for anything you are carrying. We are of the opinion that the majority of individuals would prefer to have a bag with some scuffs on it rather than a damaged laptop or camera.

Like with any other piece of hardshell luggage, you can count on this bag to provide excellent protection against the elements. This piece of luggage, unlike any other piece of hardshell luggage, comes with a separate extension zipper, making it ideal for those of you who prefer to bring along more belongings than you really need. Excellent for the over-packer who is attempting to make the switch to a life without checked luggage but still desires the peace of mind that comes with the ability to fill their bag to the brim.

Durability

When used on its own, hands-on experience is not enough to provide a reliable measurement of durability. Although not extremely high-end, the handle and wheels have a robust feel to them. The bag's zippers are one of its most noticeable features; they both seem and appear to be quite durable, and I find the flared hoop form of the zipper loops to be particularly appealing.

We have a new approach for helping to sift through the noise, and the user reviews for this bag are decent but not exceptional. This is the greatest way to determine the bag's durability since it allows you to look at vast amounts of hands-on experience that have been posted online. The wheels on this backpack are a potential source of failure, but everything else seems to operate above and above expectations. Wheels break and pockets tear throughout travel, but the extensive guarantee provided by Samsonite should cover you in the majority of cases. But, you should be aware that this is a suitcase, and if you are not careful with it, it will get scuffed and scratched. If you are really meticulous about maintaining the perfect condition of your baggage, you might be better off going with another choice

Samsonite Sage Green Luggage - Freeform

There is a good reason why the Samsonite Freeform is such a popular piece of luggage. When it was first released in 2016, consumers have had plenty of opportunity to put it through its paces through extensive travel.

The Samsonite Freeform has some really high-end embellishments that will stand out for a bag in this price range. From the recessed metal Samsonite insignia that is front and center on the bag, all the way down to the neatly sculpted metal labels that are on the zippers, everything about this bag screams quality. The bag appears to be in good condition and should not be difficult to locate amid the commotion that will ensue when passengers are required to get up and wait in the aisles just before disembarking.

The written reviews for the carry-on version of this bag that is 21 inches in length have received an average score of 83 across all of the shops that we monitor. When looking at user evaluations that are averaged throughout a full product line, that number becomes muddled and difficult to discern.

Putting aside worries about the wheels and the majority of the user evaluations, it would be quite difficult to find a piece of hardshell luggage from a well-known brand that is priced in this range and has as many of the most desirable qualities as Freeform does. It does all of this while coming in at a slim 6.5 pounds.
